Key Successful Projects

EMPTECH’s core business is end-to-end secure ID documents issuance, in which it holds a globally leading position. EMPTECH’s security features and personalization technologies have been implemented in the ID documents of 16 countries, including Argentina, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Ethiopia, Malawi, Mauritius, Burkina Faso, Eritrea, and others. It is the sole provider of personalization systems for China's ordinary ePassport, diplomatic ePassport, service ePassport, and the Hong Kong SAR ePassport.

EMPTECH has also successfully delivered multiple projects in the fields of smart election and smart banking. It has provided comprehensive electronic voting solutions for three consecutive general election projects in Nigeria. In addition, EMPTECH implemented India’s first large-scale self-service banking system at the State Bank of India.

In the area of smart transportation, EMPTECH offers integrated payment and information services for urban public transit. Its smart bus solutions cover over 300 cities across China, accounting for more than 40% of the market share. Its metro AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) system has been deployed in more than 30 cities.
